On Saturday, I got to walk around West Harlem Piers Park. It was a lovely day and took some photographs.

Which was great feeling because I have not really been taking photographs recently.

Our first day in New Orleans was  a complete success. Minus the humidity and heavy rain, I was in love with the Crescent City. Our second day was jammed pack with activities, I am shocked that I managed to keep up. It was a Sunday, out of all the days we were there it was the sunniest day. We started the day off at Cafe du Monde. Where we got to try the famous Beignets. The line was ridiculously long, but the wait was not long at all. Beignets tasted like funnel cake, it was delicious but I could only stomach two of them.

I still cannot believe I missed the Spice Girls last night. I wanted to see them on my TV screen. I have been waiting for their performance at the closing ceremony ever since it was announced that they would be performing. To numb my blues I decided to indulge in my nostalgia.
