Crossroads

There comes a point in girl's life when she has to make an important decision. Does she follow her heart and go with the road less traveled or does she take the path that has been paved for her? Her heart wants to go down the road full of ups and down,twists and turns. A road full of uncertainty, doubt and darkness. She believes that once she has taken this path it would lead to an adventure she was born to have. But she is frighten because it would not be an easy journey to take. She steps back and begins to follow her head leading her to a path of familiarity and certainty. She knows what the journey will be like and its an easier and safer journey. Is that what she wants? The life that so many others have lived? A life that is expected of her? Does she go the conventional route or does she go for the nontraditional? Is there a road that meets somewhere in the middle? Where she can follow her heart and listen to her head. Defeated she throws down the towel and follows her heart, she scared out of her mind but this path is what she was destined to take.

The List: The Sexiest Men 2013 Edition

It is becoming a little bit of a tradition here on Confessions that during the month of love I unveil my list of men that continue to rock my world. Considering how successful my last list was the only responsible thing for me to do is officially declare that this tradition will live on. If you are curious to see how last year's list differed from this year here it is  My Little Valentines . This year my list is a little different. First of all, it did not feel right to narrow it down to 100. So below you will see a list composed of 110 men. I have included men that not only I find incredibly good looking but men that have enamored me with their talent and their wit. My list is in alphabetical order besides my top ten. If there is an asterisk behind their name that means they are newbies to the list. Let me know who you think is incredibly good looking.

What Can You Do Now?

This past week has been a dark chapter in American history. Over 100,000 American lives were lost to COVID-19.  On Memorial Day, in the city of Minneapolis George Floyd was murdered by four police officers. His death sparked a nation wide outrage. If you would like to know the ways you can support the movement please take a look at this website.  https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#   It will give you ways you can help. You can sign petitions, donate, find contact information for officials in Minneapolis and find out ways to participate in peaceful protests.  This would also be a good time to register to vote, if you have not done so already. Besides remaining informed, I would advise you all to take care of your health during this difficult time. Make sure you take time to remain both physically and mentally strong.  Keep yourself hydrated. Take your vitamins. Meditate. Pray. Find ways to find joy. It is also a good time to reach out to love ones.  Be safe and be kind to yourself.
