Hate knows that love is the cure A video came to my attention today, video posted by two teenage girls from Gainesville, Florida. It reminded me of a video I had watched  a few months ago about a college student's rant on her Asian classmates. I never thought anything could be more offensive; clearly I was wrong and naive. In this video which has gone viral, these two girls go on a rant about how much they hate black people. When I say hate I mean that in every sense of the word. Being a black female this video offended me on so many levels. There are some thoughts that should never be spoken out loud. In fact this entire video should have never been posted. Who in their right mind would post a video that insults an entire group of people? It is not like they are talking about people who only wear yellow but  specifically about Black Americans. Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful and loving day. Today is the day I have decided to unveil the list to end all lists.  At one point I had nearly 200 men on my list but I think people could only handle 100 men of this magnitude at a time. It was painful but I managed to trim my list to only 100 men. The first portion of my list alphabetized because that countdown would be impossible. Without further adieu here is my list of the finest, sexiest and most gorgeous men on the face of the planet.

I have been a little M.I.A on this blog for a little bit but I promise that it is for the greater good. I am hard at work on my first video log and since I am a perfectionist it is taking longer than I hoped. I should have the video up and running by the end of the week. Apart of making my blog the best blog it can be I have decided to create Feminist Wednesdays . It is when I turn the spotlight on someone that makes me proud to be woman with a capital W. My first honor goes to M.I.A's brilliant new music video for Bad Girls . I know that this video will be controversial but it is one bad ass video. I love everything about this video, her attitude throughout the video and the bad girls street racing like a boss. Can we talk for a second about the amazing shot of the man riding a camel ahead of the car? Fun fact the video was filmed in Morocco.

January is coming to an end and I feel like sprinkling my blog with some more music. I did a 90's throwback about a month ago and it got such a popular response that I am doing it again. This time I present to you my favorite band of all time, BACKSTREET BOYS . Here there are with the song that defined a generation of screaming girls, I Want It That Way . I remember when this video premiered on KTV( the South African  equivalent to Disney Channel).  It was the highlight of my 12 year old life. So sit back, relax, sing along and be transported to the fierceness of the 90's.  

Everywhere I go there seems to be a new social network or a new electronic popping up with promises of delivering news faster and keeping you more in touch with friends or in most cases strangers. What I realized with every new iPhone or new update on Facebook is we are getting further apart from each other. We are  no longer able to connect with people on an emotional level but only on a superficial one. Call me old fashion but I miss the days of long  hand written letters and phone calls being made from the home phone. I miss the days when people's lives were not put on full display one click away. I miss they days when people used to call you to check on you instead of sending you texts. There is only so much you can write in a text. I long for the days when you life was not over if you were disconnected from the internet for an hour. Going into the Castle I just came back from a ten day vacation in Orlando, Florida. It was great to escape from the cold weather for a little bit and relax in my villa. The days of Disney World and Sea World are long gone now but I am sure I will be returning once my siblings or I have kids. I did spend two out of my ten days at Universal Studios Resort Orlando . One day I was hopping around Island of Adventure the next zipping through Universal Studios Florida . If you are making a trip to Orlando, I strongly suggest making a pit stop to Universal . I have not been to Universal Studios in years and I was impressed about what they had done. There is a new roller coaster called Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit that had me jumping and screaming out of my seat literally. Then the Revenge of the Mummy ride was also excellent.
