We are officially in the third month of the year. To celebrate this achievement, I decided to highlight great music that was released this week by artists that I love. Carly Rae Jepsen: Now That I Found You/ No Drugs Like Me The Queen of bops has released not one, but two bangers for us to listen to. It was a close call, but I decided to share No Drugs Like Me Maddie Poppe: Little Things After winning American Idol, Maddie Poppe has been working to release her debut album. I have loved everything she has released so far. There is something about her musicality that reminds me of  a young Ingrid Michelson. Catie Turner:  Prom Queen The lovely Catie Turner just released a single for all the misfits and wallflowers. This girl right here has a bright future ahead.  Alphabeat:   Shadows They're back!  Solange: When I Get Home Three  years after releasing the sensational record A Seat On The Table , Solange is back with a whole new...

My Life in Photos

I cannot believe that we are are in the middle of November. The year is almost over and one chapter of my life is coming to a close. By December I will have completed all of my courses to be eligible to graduate from my Master program. I just have to pass my comprehension exam and I will be a Master in Cinema Studies. Someone pinch me. While trying to succeed as a graduate student, I have been negligent with the upkeep of this blog. There were so many moments I wished I shared. Since it would be impossible now to do separate blog posts of those precious moments, here is my life in photos. Sunny day in London Bookstore on a river Greenwich Queen Time Those city views Brides and Bridges Photoville British Gardens Somewhere in Brooklyn My Trip to the Moon Vixen at the bar Happy Hour in London Austin I heart you Brunch in Austin Lunch time in Bristol Kids and Bubbles

The London Bridge is not the Tower Bridge

I arrived in London with empty pockets and low spirits. Not my wisest decision since the city is soul crushing expensive. After swallowing my self pity, I wanted to make my next day as memorable as possible. This would not be a day I sulk in bed because Adele lost her voice. I was going to be as touristic as possible. I decided to head down to the London Bridge.  I will admit I was a bit gobsmacked when I saw the bridge. It was not how I...
