Since we are officially into summer, I decided to share the things I'm loving. Binge Worthy Television Kingdom A historical drama that centers around a zombie epidemic that was caused by greed and corruption.  The cinematography and art direction are simply divine. The plot twist in the last few minutes of the season finale had my jaw on the floor. The show continues to prove that South Korea is a leader in horror filmmaking. I could talk about this show for hours.  Dead to Me What I love about this show is highlights the many facets of grief. I have not seen many shows besides Six Feet Under that really dive into ugliness, awkwardness and the guilt of grief. Nor have I seen a show from both sides of grief, the ones in mourning and the ones who caused the grief. I remember when this music video first came out. There was so much buzz about the heartthrob from New Kids on The Block going solo. I remember dancing along to it on TRL and thinking to myself boy is Jordan Knight fine. Here is the music video that made little girls into women.

When I was a senior in college I wrote a letter to my future daughter  for a class. Even though there were certain topics that I was supposed to address my letter was organic and heartfelt. As I look at the world around me I have no doubt in my mind that I will raise a strong independent female. She will be encourage to be honest, opinionated and a little warrior.  I know that things will never be easy for her but I am confident that I will give her a great foundation to handle all the punches. With each moment I get concerned for the welfare of my unborn son. It is becoming a little bit of a tradition here on Confessions that during the month of love I unveil my list of men that continue to rock my world. Considering how successful my last list was the only responsible thing for me to do is officially declare that this tradition will live on. If you are curious to see how last year's list differed from this year here it is  My Little Valentines . This year my list is a little different. First of all, it did not feel right to narrow it down to 100. So below you will see a list composed of 110 men. I have included men that not only I find incredibly good looking but men that have enamored me with their talent and their wit. My list is in alphabetical order besides my top ten. If there is an asterisk behind their name that means they are newbies to the list. Let me know who you think is incredibly good looking. 

Over a month ago, I watched the absolutely beautiful My Own Private Idaho . I had a bit of a revelation after watching the film. Which is kind of interesting because it has nothing to do with the themes that were brought up in the film. If you have not watched My Own Private Idaho , I suggest that you check it out. It is hauntingly beautiful and River Phoenix is such a beautiful soul. Anyways, back to the topic of my post. I was thinking about how beautiful Keanu Reeves looked in the movie and how he could seriously get it. Jokingly I said to myself that "he doesn't even need to ask". Then a light bulb went off in my head. What exactly was I insinuating by that remark. Was I suggesting that because he was so attractive he does not need to ask for my permission to have sexual relations with me? After much thought, I realized that was what I was suggesting. When I started my War on Women series I had every intention of including a discussion about rape warfare. At the time I had so many thoughts flooding my brain that I could never find the right words to express them. I am beginning to feel that I still do not have the right words but I am ready to share my opinions with you all. I would have kept this topic for March to coincide with Women's History Month but recent events have made it apparent that today is the perfect time to raise awareness about rape warfare.  According to World Health Organization( WHO) violence against women is the main cause of death and disability for females within the age bracket of 15-44 than cancer, malaria, traffic accidents and general warfare combined. If anyone of you keep updated with global news you know about the mass rapes that are occurring in Democratic Republic of Congo. In the DRC women are 100 times more likely to be raped than women in the United States....

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful and loving day. Today is the day I have decided to unveil the list to end all lists.  At one point I had nearly 200 men on my list but I think people could only handle 100 men of this magnitude at a time. It was painful but I managed to trim my list to only 100 men. The first portion of my list alphabetized because that countdown would be impossible. Without further adieu here is my list of the finest, sexiest and most gorgeous men on the face of the planet.

January is coming to an end and I feel like sprinkling my blog with some more music. I did a 90's throwback about a month ago and it got such a popular response that I am doing it again. This time I present to you my favorite band of all time, BACKSTREET BOYS . Here there are with the song that defined a generation of screaming girls, I Want It That Way . I remember when this video premiered on KTV( the South African  equivalent to Disney Channel).  It was the highlight of my 12 year old life. So sit back, relax, sing along and be transported to the fierceness of the 90's.  

I have a question for you all. I don't know if it is just me but after many discussions with my twin sister probably not. Maybe it is just the two of us but whenever I go out I always get hit on by the one person I'm not attracted to. It is not like they are butt ugly or anything but I am not feeling them unfortunately they are always feeling me. I always try to be nice and let them down gently but they are always persistent. I always get the persistent ones. My friends get the guys that go away but me I get the ones that don't understand that no means no. No does not me maybe in two seconds and yes one minute from now it means no. Last night I went to a lounge in NYC called Lair. It was a great time, the DJ was doing his thing , the drinks were flowing and the crowd were enthusiastic. I admit I was wearing shoes that made me want to die and I was slightly intoxicated so I was relaxing on the couch to regain my energy. This is the time when a genius decides to hit on me. ...

One thing I have learnt in my short 23 years on the planet is there is no male accountability. This statement might confuse or seem ludicrous to some folks, accountability what do you mean?   What I mean by this is really quite simple, men do not have any accountability for their actions especially with regards to women. It is one of the great privileges that come with being a man. Boys will be boys! You know what men are like? Actually I don't and i don't think its fair to keep on babying them.  When they commit a horrendous crime against a female it is usually the female who is  blamed. She asked for it. Did you see what she was wearing? She invited him to her house. Why did you make me so angry? Do any of these statements look familiar? It takes away the blame from the man and places it solely on the  female. Whole idea of boys will be boys makes it appear that innately men are aggressive and have a large sex drive. My friends will tell you I go through phases of celebrity crushes. Nick Carter, Josh Hartnett, Paul Walker, Ginuwine, Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa, Rob Brown, Shemar Moore, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans, Garrett Hedlund, Terrence Howard, Shia La Boeuf, Alexander Skarsgard, Joseph Gordon Levitt have at one time in my life had me giggling like a 12 year old girl. By December I had added new man on my Roman Grant size list of hubbies, the adorable and talented Kyle Riabko. People who watch 90210(the new one) know him as the flawless bitch Ian. I absolutely adore him. I always see different magazines coming out with their list of the most beautiful or the sexist people and I thought way not share my list with the masses.
