2014: The Year of Complete Metamorphosis

HAPPY NEW YEAR my loyal readers of this blog! I hope you welcome the new year in style and that 2014 will bring you nothing more than blessings. I won't be writing anything profound in this blog post. It is just a post where I took a knife to my soul and I allowed it to bleed into words. Even though this post is not for a particular audience, I hope you find a sense of inspiration from my words. 

2013 was a year that came and went like a cold's winter breeze. There were moments in 2013 that I will cherish forever, but like many years that have past 2013 was not an impressionable year. I look back at the years I have actually lived and they are so far and in between. I can't spend another year just existing on this planet. I want to be a part of the heartbeat. I want to look back at my year and think to myself damn what a spectacular ride. I want my ghosts of my past to be completely jealous of the year 2014. I have decided to not make any new year's resolutions this year. I am a little over those, but I will be challenging myself tremendously this year. 2014 will the year of complete metamorphosis. The question is: are you ready?

The List: The Sexiest Men 2013 Edition

It is becoming a little bit of a tradition here on Confessions that during the month of love I unveil my list of men that continue to rock my world. Considering how successful my last list was the only responsible thing for me to do is officially declare that this tradition will live on. If you are curious to see how last year's list differed from this year here it is  My Little Valentines . This year my list is a little different. First of all, it did not feel right to narrow it down to 100. So below you will see a list composed of 110 men. I have included men that not only I find incredibly good looking but men that have enamored me with their talent and their wit. My list is in alphabetical order besides my top ten. If there is an asterisk behind their name that means they are newbies to the list. Let me know who you think is incredibly good looking.

What Can You Do Now?

This past week has been a dark chapter in American history. Over 100,000 American lives were lost to COVID-19.  On Memorial Day, in the city of Minneapolis George Floyd was murdered by four police officers. His death sparked a nation wide outrage. If you would like to know the ways you can support the movement please take a look at this website.  https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#   It will give you ways you can help. You can sign petitions, donate, find contact information for officials in Minneapolis and find out ways to participate in peaceful protests.  This would also be a good time to register to vote, if you have not done so already. Besides remaining informed, I would advise you all to take care of your health during this difficult time. Make sure you take time to remain both physically and mentally strong.  Keep yourself hydrated. Take your vitamins. Meditate. Pray. Find ways to find joy. It is also a good time to reach out to love ones.  Be safe and be kind to yourself.
