Postcards from The Bahamas

Waking up at the crack of dawn is only worthwhile if you are making your way to The Bahamas for the first time.  After a few delays at the airport, we made our way to down to Grand Bahama Island for five days of rest and relaxation. 

 We were completely spoiled at Memories Grand Bahama Beach & Casino Resort. It made it extremely hard to leave. One of the downfall at staying at an all exclusive is that you don't really feel a need to do exploring.

 Somehow I convinced myself to ride the banana boat. I was scary fun until the point I got wiped out trying at the end of the ride.
Crab salad was exquisite
Pineapple Juice & Rum never hurt nobody

 I went to this fabulous marketplace but I did not get any souvenirs because I left my wallet home.

Now that I am back home, I am suffering from post-holiday blues.

The List: The Sexiest Men 2013 Edition

It is becoming a little bit of a tradition here on Confessions that during the month of love I unveil my list of men that continue to rock my world. Considering how successful my last list was the only responsible thing for me to do is officially declare that this tradition will live on. If you are curious to see how last year's list differed from this year here it is  My Little Valentines . This year my list is a little different. First of all, it did not feel right to narrow it down to 100. So below you will see a list composed of 110 men. I have included men that not only I find incredibly good looking but men that have enamored me with their talent and their wit. My list is in alphabetical order besides my top ten. If there is an asterisk behind their name that means they are newbies to the list. Let me know who you think is incredibly good looking.

What Can You Do Now?

This past week has been a dark chapter in American history. Over 100,000 American lives were lost to COVID-19.  On Memorial Day, in the city of Minneapolis George Floyd was murdered by four police officers. His death sparked a nation wide outrage. If you would like to know the ways you can support the movement please take a look at this website.  https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#   It will give you ways you can help. You can sign petitions, donate, find contact information for officials in Minneapolis and find out ways to participate in peaceful protests.  This would also be a good time to register to vote, if you have not done so already. Besides remaining informed, I would advise you all to take care of your health during this difficult time. Make sure you take time to remain both physically and mentally strong.  Keep yourself hydrated. Take your vitamins. Meditate. Pray. Find ways to find joy. It is also a good time to reach out to love ones.  Be safe and be kind to yourself.
