The month of February is upon us. There are several marvelous things happening in the month of February.There is Single Awareness Day which happens to fall on the same day as Valentine's Day. One day earlier is the spectacular Galentine's Day. For film fanatics the Academy Awards airs this month. The first Sunday of the month, is the other football's biggest night- The Superbowl. February is also the month we celebrate Black History Month.

Throughout this month I will be celebrating Black History Month. There will be a Black Excellence series. Where I take time to talk about current Black artists that are creating a name for themselves. I will also share some of my favorite poems from legendary poets. I promise you, this will be a celebration not to miss.

One of the biggest events on this blog is my Sexiest Men Alive list. I will be unveiling my list, the week of Valentine's Day. This one is going to be a scorcher.

The List: The Sexiest Men 2013 Edition

It is becoming a little bit of a tradition here on Confessions that during the month of love I unveil my list of men that continue to rock my world. Considering how successful my last list was the only responsible thing for me to do is officially declare that this tradition will live on. If you are curious to see how last year's list differed from this year here it is  My Little Valentines . This year my list is a little different. First of all, it did not feel right to narrow it down to 100. So below you will see a list composed of 110 men. I have included men that not only I find incredibly good looking but men that have enamored me with their talent and their wit. My list is in alphabetical order besides my top ten. If there is an asterisk behind their name that means they are newbies to the list. Let me know who you think is incredibly good looking.

What Can You Do Now?

This past week has been a dark chapter in American history. Over 100,000 American lives were lost to COVID-19.  On Memorial Day, in the city of Minneapolis George Floyd was murdered by four police officers. His death sparked a nation wide outrage. If you would like to know the ways you can support the movement please take a look at this website.  https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#   It will give you ways you can help. You can sign petitions, donate, find contact information for officials in Minneapolis and find out ways to participate in peaceful protests.  This would also be a good time to register to vote, if you have not done so already. Besides remaining informed, I would advise you all to take care of your health during this difficult time. Make sure you take time to remain both physically and mentally strong.  Keep yourself hydrated. Take your vitamins. Meditate. Pray. Find ways to find joy. It is also a good time to reach out to love ones.  Be safe and be kind to yourself.
