Rose's Adventures in Sin City

what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas
Fremont Street
What I am about to reveal are the only things I am allowed to talk about my trip to Las Vegas. I am sure my husband of 72 hours Alejandro won't mind me not disclosing our short courtship. I got you boo. All jokes aside, my trip to Las Vegas was  incredible.

My trip to Las Vegas started off a bit bumpy with an altercation with the biggest tool of TSA agent. There was a typo on my boarding pass( just my middle initial I might add)  and he refused to let me go through. I ended up missing my flight and losing my brand new vest I got over Christmas. When I finally got to Las Vegas I was exhausted determined to not let this incident impact my trip.
Wynn Hotel

First of all, Las Vegas is gorgeous. It was just one great hotel after the next. My favorite was the Wynn hotel. It was whimsical and it hosts the best show in Vegas  Le Reve. If you have to see one show in Vegas it is definitely Le Reve. I have never witness such acrobatic strength. It was something out of my wildest dreams.  We were able to see two other shows while we were there- the spectacular Vegas The Show and the groovy Hitzville.

Beginning of the Fountains
I did not have much luck gambling. I ended up losing more money than I won. My lucky casino was Caesars Palace. I turned my $1 to $9, which was pretty remarkable on my part. Vegas also is known for its fine dinning and boy did we eat. Spice Market located in Planet Hollywood is the best buffet in town.  There is also a lovely French bistro called Mon Ami Gabi which is located across from the fountains at the Bellagio. Make sure to make a pit stop to these two locations.

Chinese New Year at the Bellagio
Speaking of the Bellagio, they had the most magnificent display I have ever seen. When we first got there they still had their Christmas display. By the time we left they transferred the area for the Chinese New Year. It was completely breathtaking. Don't get me talking about the fountains, they left me speechless. You can catch shows every half hour. Downtown Las Vegas has the  Fremont Street Experience which is another great activity to do in Vegas.

The only letdown I had on my trip was the Shark Reef Aquarium. It was completely overpriced. You do not get your money's worth. I did enjoy the New York New York roller coaster. It was insane but a bit overpriced. I would suggest you ride the roller-coaster if your heart can take it.
