If you ever feel bad about your life choices remember you weren't Peter Andre in the 90's. I am pretty sure the ocean got pregnant from all the gyrating. All jokes aside, I really enjoy this song and I admit his body was on point.  

Unfortunately, Women's History Month is drawing to a close. I could not let this month end without celebrating the women who inspired me as a child. Let me know who were your childhood heroes. I remember when this music video first came out. There was so much buzz about the heartthrob from New Kids on The Block going solo. I remember dancing along to it on TRL and thinking to myself boy is Jordan Knight fine. Here is the music video that made little girls into women. 

Prepare yourself for perfection. I am having heart palpitations as we speak right now. Earlier today the fabulous Will Smith returned to The Graham Norton Show. He pulled out all stops bringing DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro on the stage. I have died and gone to heaven. Now it's time for y'all to follow me to the afterlife. 

Do you remember the days when songs like this used to play on the radio? Do you remember the days when a party was not complete without a jam like this. What happened to music like this? I am going through a little 90's nostalgia.

When I was a preteen there were three musical acts that I was obsessed with:  Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and this lovely lady Billie Piper. I did like Britney Spears as well but I just loved Billie. When I yearn for the good old days, the days listening to Billie always makes me smile. How simple things were in retrospect. One thing to know about me is that I am a loyal fan. I will follow your career no matter where it might lead. For example, I have followed Billie Piper's acting career. So happy that she has found success. Most people don't even know that she was a singer prior to being Rose in Doctor Who.

I still cannot believe I missed the Spice Girls last night. I wanted to see them on my TV screen. I have been waiting for their performance at the closing ceremony ever since it was announced that they would be performing. To numb my blues I decided to indulge in my nostalgia. January is coming to an end and I feel like sprinkling my blog with some more music. I did a 90's throwback about a month ago and it got such a popular response that I am doing it again. This time I present to you my favorite band of all time, BACKSTREET BOYS . Here there are with the song that defined a generation of screaming girls, I Want It That Way . I remember when this video premiered on KTV( the South African  equivalent to Disney Channel).  It was the highlight of my 12 year old life. So sit back, relax, sing along and be transported to the fierceness of the 90's.  

Every once in awhile I like to sprinkle my blog with music that I love. Since the holidays are on the way and I'm in a giving mood today is a perfect day to do so. Before I became a Backstreet Boys fan, I was a huge Spice Girls fan. I had my  platform shoes and was throwing peace signs on all of my pictures. They were an awesome group and I'm not ashamed to admit that I still listen to them today.  Here is a video from one of my favorites songs by them. Now this video is not the creme de la creme but its such a huge part of my childhood that it has a special place in my heart. It brings back memories when everything with pop and nothing hurt.
