I still cannot believe I missed the Spice Girls last night. I wanted to see them on my TV screen. I have been waiting for their performance at the closing ceremony ever since it was announced that they would be performing. To numb my blues I decided to indulge in my nostalgia. Here is a clip from Spice World. If I do find a video of their performance, I will share it with y'all.

Our first day in New Orleans was  a complete success. Minus the humidity and heavy rain, I was in love with the Crescent City. Our second day was jammed pack with activities, I am shocked that I managed to keep up. It was a Sunday, out of all the days we were there it was the sunniest day. We started the day off at Cafe du Monde. Where we got to try the famous Beignets. The line was ridiculously long, but the wait was not long at all. So well walking in Central Park earlier this week it hit me, I do not think I have ever been in Central Park during fall. I have been there numerous times in the Summer and sometimes in the spring but never in fall. It could be that I cannot be bother to take leisure strolls when it is cold outside. I must tell you Central Park in the fall is absolutely breathtaking. I have never been at a lost for where to take my next pic but I was that afternoon. Here are some snaps I took well strolling in Central Park. I call this one lover's lane. I just love the way the sun hits the water. The sun was beginning to set on an absolutely beautiful day. It was a pain to shoot. I could not see what I was doing but I was more than thrilled by the end result. In the top five of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.
