Words I Live By and other random thoughts

Success Train:
One of my application turned at to be a success as I can now add contributing writer to my resume. I have been given the opportunity to continue to write at a higher level by the people at HangProud(an empowering website for women). It sounds like something that is completely me. I am still looking for jobs that pay and give me the opportunity to work aboard or work with kids.

Words I Live By:
I was asked recently what are my words that I live by. At first I really did not have an answer but then two words came to mind. GET IT! If I do something well I am getting it. If I want something( job, internship, to travel or a boy) I tell myself get it. It is words of encouragement to a friend or fellow sister. It is the words that I live by,my philosophy for life. It is empowering to think that if I put my mind to things I can get it.

True Blood:
The True Blood premiere was off the hook. It started right where it left off and a disappointment it was not. My favorite character by a mile is Eric the Viking Vampire. He is sex in a sweatpants and flip flops. That man is fierce and strong as bull. If you still are not watching True Blood what is wrong with you. It's funny, it's sexy, it's scary and all types of messed up. It is just one fun thrill ride after another. People who are sensitive to blood may not want to take the ride.

Worries:
I applied for a job that I really want. I hope that I get it. I am also regretting taking someone off my friends list on facebook. I just hope they don't hate me and understand my reasons behind my decisions. In fact I cut off like maybe thirty people but I am not worried about them.

Moving on, starting fresh

I DID IT! I graduated college! All the sleepless nights, pulling of the hair and crying myself to sleep have paid off, I now have my college diploma. Now that I have ended one successful chapter in my life I am looking forward to embarking on the next one. I am looking forward to igniting the flame inside of me and turning it into a full blown bonfire. I am not sure what the future holds but I cannot wait to find out. When I was five I never thought I was going to live in Tunisia or Mozambique for that matter. I never would have imagined that if I put my mind to it I could study abroad in Australia nor did i think I would go to college in upstate New York. I have done so pretty much amazing things but I still want to do more. I want to see the world, get touched spiritually and emotionally by incredible individuals, hopefully bring joy to all of those around me, laugh more, cry less, regret less, write more, cook more and live each day to its fullest. He doesn't even need to ask

Over a month ago, I watched the absolutely beautiful My Own Private Idaho . I had a bit of a revelation after watching the film. Which is kind of interesting because it has nothing to do with the themes that were brought up in the film. If you have not watched My Own Private Idaho , I suggest that you check it out. It is hauntingly beautiful and River Phoenix is such a beautiful soul. Anyways, back to the topic of my post. I was thinking about how beautiful Keanu Reeves looked in the movie and how he could seriously get it. Jokingly I said to myself that "he doesn't even need to ask". Then a light bulb went off in my head. What exactly was I insinuating by that remark. Was I suggesting that because he was so attractive he does not need to ask for my permission to have sexual relations with me? After much thought, I realized that was what I was suggesting.
