I admit this post is a bit of filler but I'm sorry that I'm not sorry. All jokes aside I want to inform you about upcoming developments to my blog.   • My picks for the best in music. There is a lot of great music coming out this year and I want to acknowledge that. I also have an incredible new artist that I want to introduce you guys to.

In the near future
  • It's raining men is not only a popular song but what will be happening on my blog next year. I will be unveiling the sexiest men in the world 2013 edition. It will be interesting to see who makes my list this year.

  • You might have noticed that I failed to mention my picks for best films of the year. The truth is I no longer post about films on this blog because I have a blog for that now. From now until February The Amateur Film Critic will be your go to guide for everything Oscars.

Our first day in New Orleans was  a complete success. Minus the humidity and heavy rain, I was in love with the Crescent City. Our second day was jammed pack with activities, I am shocked that I managed to keep up. It was a Sunday, out of all the days we were there it was the sunniest day. We started the day off at Cafe du Monde. Where we got to try the famous Beignets. The line was ridiculously long, but the wait was not long at all. Beignets tasted like funnel cake, it was delicious but I could only stomach two of them.

So well walking in Central Park earlier this week it hit me, I do not think I have ever been in Central Park during fall. I have been there numerous times in the Summer and sometimes in the spring but never in fall. It could be that I cannot be bother to take leisure strolls when it is cold outside. I must tell you Central Park in the fall is absolutely breathtaking. I have never been at a lost for where to take my next pic but I was that afternoon. Here are some snaps I took well strolling in Central Park. I call this one lover's lane. I just love the way the sun hits the water. The sun was beginning to set on an absolutely beautiful day. It was a pain to shoot. I could not see what I was doing but I was more than thrilled by the end result. In the top five of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.
