I Got These Great Eggspectations!

I admit that I do not make it down to the DMV area as much as I should. My twin sister finally dragged me out of the comfort of our home to spend the weekend in Maryland. She even convinced me to attend a Halloween themed party in DC. Pigs must have been flying because we rolled back to the hotel in wee hours. On Sunday afternoon we were blessed with a beautiful fall afternoon. We took full advantage by spending time in downtown Silver Springs. We met up with a friend and had brunch at Eggspectation.


Cafe Moka Nero
The food at Eggspectation was scrumptious. I ordered myself a comforting Cafe Moka Nero and the Harvest Pumpkin Pancakes. Everyone on our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. If you have an Eggspectation in your area, make sure you make a pit stop.

I cannot believe that we are are in the middle of November. The year is almost over and one chapter of my life is coming to a close. By December I will have completed all of my courses to be eligible to graduate from my Master program. I just have to pass my comprehension exam and I will be a Master in Cinema Studies. Someone pinch me. While trying to succeed as a graduate student, I have been negligent with the upkeep of this blog. There were so many moments I wished I shared. Summer Movies

It's May 1 which makes it the first weekend of SUMMER MOVIES! All year I have not been excited by any movie that was released. The last movie I saw in cinema was Slumdog Millionaire but that was released last year so it does not count. Summer movie season has started with the release of the much anticipated X- Men Origins: Wolverine . I have been excited about this movie since I first heard about it last spring. It looks amazing and it is directed by the amazing Gavin Hood(Check out Tsotsi to his cinematic genius). However, I have been hearing not so excellent reviews from people who saw it, so my excitement has dwindled. For the most part there are not many movies that I am wetting my pants for. But the ones that I am excited for have got me in a complete frenzy. I am also dying because the best show on television is coming back next month. Yes I am talking about True Blood . Hell Yeah!
