Three Nights in Nola: Jazz and Beignets

Our first day in New Orleans was  a complete success. Minus the humidity and heavy rain, I was in love with the Crescent City. Our second day was jammed pack with activities, I am shocked that I managed to keep up. It was a Sunday, out of all the days we were there it was the sunniest day. We started the day off at Cafe du Monde. Where we got to try the famous Beignets. The line was ridiculously long, but the wait was not long at all. Beignets tasted like funnel cake, it was delicious but I could only stomach two of them.

Three Nights in Nola: Day One

After being inside the world for three fabulous decades, I decided it was about time for me to celebrate my life. My sister and I headed down to the Big Easy with two of our best gals to welcome ourselves to the 30 year old club. Our trip to New Orleans began bright and early on Saturday morning. After checking into our Airbnb and resting for a few hours, we decided it was time to check out the city. Our first stop was to Ruby Slippers for brunch. I started my day off with a mimosa and 3 Little Pig Omelette. 3 Little Pit Omelette with fresh fruits and biscuits.  I will have to admit that was one damn good omelette. Once we were done eating, we heading down to the Marriott to pick up the last passenger on our trip. Once our group was complete we headed to the French Quarters.
